Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to lead and enhance our online presence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that drive engagement, promote our brand, and align with our business goals. This is a remote role for candidates based in Nigeria who are passionate about digital marketing and the telecommunications industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy: Create and execute comprehensive strategies to increase brand visibility, audience engagement, and lead generation.
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality, platform-specific content, including posts, images, videos, and interactive campaigns for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Community Management: Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Campaign Management: Plan and manage paid advertising campaigns to maximize ROI and achieve marketing objectives.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance metrics, generate insightful reports, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize campaigns.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep the company ahead of competitors.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, and customer support) to ensure cohesive messaging and seamless execution of campaigns.
- Crisis Management: Address and resolve any social media challenges or crises while protecting the company’s reputation.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience: 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably within the telecommunications or tech sector.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in social media platforms and tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, or Sprout Social.
Experience running paid social media campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads).
Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
