The program, branded as “Jobs For All”, is part of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at empowering unemployed and underemployed citizens with in-demand skills and access to job opportunities

About Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI)

The Renewed Hope Employment Initiative is a flagship empowerment program introduced by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the NDE, designed to tackle youth unemployment, boost small-scale entrepreneurship, and create jobs across sectors like agriculture, tech, commerce, and more.

After a successful pilot phase, the second phase aims to scale the initiative to reach even more Nigerians in both rural and urban areas. The program is part of President Tinubu’s broader Renewed Hope Agenda and is supported by key stakeholders at the federal and state levels.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

To apply for the second phase of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Nigerian citizen (with valid ID)
  • Must be between 18 and 40 years old
  • Be currently unemployed or underemployed
  • Must possess a minimum of First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)
  • Willingness to undergo training or accept placements under the program
  • Must have a valid BVN or NIN

Note: Women, people with disabilities, and youth in underserved communities are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Small Stock (Goat) Production Empowerment Scheme (SSGPES) 

B. Small Scale Enterprises Programme

  • Start Your Own Business (SYOB) 
  • Enterprise and Finance Counseling Clinic (NDE-EFCC) 
  • Matured Peoples’ Programme (MPP) 
  • Micro Enterprises Enhancement Scheme (MEES) 
  • Basic Business Training (BBT) 
  • Online business grants

C. Vocational Skills Development Program

  • Quick-Fix Demand Driven Development and Empowerment 
  • Digital Skills Training 
  • Community-Based Training and Empowerment 
  • Techno-Cultural Craft Training Scheme 
  • Special Vocational Training for Persons with Special Needs and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) 

D. Special Public Works Program

  • Solar Energy Training and Empowerment Scheme 
  • Environmental Beautification Training and Empowerment Scheme 
  • Graduate Attachment Programme (GAP) 
  • Graduate Coaching Scheme (GCS)
