The Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI) is a youth leadership intervention launched to groom a new generation of public sector leaders in Nigeria. It gives participants immersive exposure to legislative processes, governance, policy, and public service.
LMI’s mission is to develop the next generation of legislators and ethical public sector leaders that are well equipped with responsive leadership skills, knowledge and expertise to enhance public service delivery and foster national cohesion.
The Fellowship Programme for Young Nigerians under Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI) equips aspiring leaders to understand how Nigeria’s legislature works, develop strong values in public service, and prepare for roles in the democratic space. The program blends theory, mentorship, experiential learning, and network building.
Requirements and Eligibility
Applicants for the Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI) Cohort 4 Fellowship Programme for Young Nigerians must meet the following criteria:
