About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and creative Generalist Communications Intern to support our communications team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with photography and basic graphic design and will be willing to take on a variety of communications-related tasks as assigned. Job Title: Generalist Communications Intern at Sydani Group Towers
Location: Abuja (Hybrid – 4 days in-office, 1 day remote)
Reports To: Senior Communications Specialist
Duration: 6 months
Start Date: Monday, 11th August 2025
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photographs during events, field visits, and other key moments.
- Design visual content including social media graphics, flyers, presentations, and other materials using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Support the Senior Communications Specialist in executing day-to-day communications functions.
- Assist in the documentation and archiving of communications materials.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Senior Communications Specialist.

Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Communications, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Residency in Abuja is required.
- Proficiency in photography with a good eye for visual storytelling.
- Basic graphic design skills with experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team structure.
Preferred Skills (Bonus but not required)
- Experience in video editing.
- Familiarity with social media management.
- Strong writing skills for digital content
