The Matrix Energy Scholarship 2025 is a fully funded postgraduate opportunity for Nigerians who want to advance their studies in Materials Engineering. The program is sponsored by Matrix Energy Limited through the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation (AAF) in partnership with the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.

Available Programs
Master’s Degree in Materials Engineering (2 Years)
- Applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of Second-Class Upper Division (2:1) is required.
Doctoral (PhD) Degree in Materials Engineering (3 Years)
- Applicant must hold a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
- The Master’s program must be research-based, with a minimum of 60% weighted average in coursework.
