Fellowship Reach

  • In Nigeria, the fellowship will support at least 100 students per year.

Fellowship Coverage

  • Fellowships are for the full duration of the Bachelor of Tech, Science and Engineering programs for 4- 5 years

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Airtel Africa Fellowship 2025, you must meet these requirements:

  • The Fellowship will only apply to students admitted into any one of the 7 participating public universities.
  • The Foundation will consider gender diversity as part of the selection criteria.  
  • The candidate shall not be a recipient of any other fellowship/scholarship/grants for the same purposes as being supported by Airtel Africa Foundation.
  • Only new entrants shall be eligible. (100 level)
  • The Candidate must demonstrate financial need to be eligible for the program
  • Scored a minimum of 230 in JAMB
  • Possess 5 credits, including English and mathematics, in one sitting.
  • Applicants must have JAMB results and an admission letter, a School ID card & WAEC certificate/ result to be shortlisted
