Scholarship Categories
The Yahaya Alapansanpa Youth Education Foundation YAYEF Tuition Support Fund offers two categories of scholarships tailored to different stages of your academic journey.
Campus Starter: New Entrants (UTME/DE route)
This category is for fresh university students, including 100-level entrants and those admitted via Direct Entry. Whether you’re starting right after secondary school or joining with a diploma or equivalent qualification, you are eligible here.
Requirements and Eligibility
To apply for Yahaya Alapansanpa Youth Education Foundation Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the following conditions before applying:
- Applicants must be an indigene of Kwara State.
- Applicants must have written the 2025 JAMB exam and passed.
- Applicants must have received admission into a public university in Nigeria.
- Applicants must be between 16 and 21 years of age.
Documents Needed for Application
Applicants should prepare the following documents:
- O-level Result.
- A-Level result.
- UTME/DE slip.
- Admission letter.
- Proof of origin (LGA certificate).
- A brief statement (maximum 300 words) titled “My Journey to University: What Drives Me and the Future I Want to Build”.
Campus Achiever: For Existing University Students (GPA Track)
This category is for current undergraduate students, from 200 to 400 level, who have already completed at least one academic year. This is for students who have shown resilience and a commitment to academic excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be an indigene of Kwara State.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited public university in Nigeria.
- Applicants must have completed at least one academic year.
- Applicants must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a 5.0 scale, or its equivalent.
- Applicants should provide evidence of academic achievement.

- Your most recent academic transcript or official results.
- Your student ID and admission letter.
- Proof of origin (LGA certificate).
