About CyberUnite
CyberUnite is a flagship research project funded under the HEA North-South Research Programme. It brings together leading institutions:
- University of Limerick (UL)
- Queen’s University Belfast (QUB)
- Munster Technological University (MTU)
- University College Cork (UCC)
The project focuses on securing cross-border critical infrastructure by developing resilient, adaptive, and trustworthy cybersecurity solutions.
PhD Positions at the University of Limerick
UL is recruiting for two PhD positions in privacy and trust of Cyber-Physical Systems.
- PhD 1: Focus on software, cybersecurity, and AI
- PhD 2: Focus on hardware, cybersecurity, and engineering
Supervisors:
- Professor Donna O’Shea
- Professor Tom Newe
Key Details for Applicants
- Entry Requirements: BSc or BEng (Honours) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering
- Stipend: €25,000 per annum
- Duration: 4 years
- Support Provided: Full PhD fees, laptop, travel, and consumables
- Host Institutions: UL, UCC, MTU, or QUB
