Are you a young changemaker passionate about climate action, sustainability, and community development? Do you want to learn, lead, and connect with fellow youth across Katsina State who are shaping a greener future? The Katsina Youth Climate Summit (KYCS) 2025 invites applications from dedicated and purpose-driven youth to serve as delegates at this transformative 2-day summit taking place in August 2025.
Organized by the Youth Movement for SDGs, KYCS 2025 will bring together over 200 youth delegates from across all 34 LGAs of Katsina to engage in intensive leadership workshops, innovation labs, stakeholder dialogues, and hands-on environmental action. Delegates will gain climate literacy, advocacy skills, and the opportunity to join a lasting network of youth leaders working to implement grassroots climate solutions aligned with the SDGs and Nigeria’s climate commitments.
The Katsina Youth Climate Summit 2025 is calling for passionate, action-driven youth to step up and become official Summit Delegates. This is your opportunity to be part of a bold new chapter in climate action, led by young Nigerians who are ready to make real change happen at the grassroots and policy level.
Eligibility Criteria
They want young people who care—and who are ready to act.
If you are:
- Between 18 and 35 years old
- Based in Katsina State or working on climate/environmental issues in the region
- A student, community organizer, researcher, entrepreneur, content creator, farmer, or activist
- Committed to climate resilience, sustainability, or environmental justice
