Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Officer to support the strategic and operational HR team in the consulting firm.
  • The ideal candidate must possess prior experience in a professional services or consulting environment and hold a recognized HR certification.
  • This role involves handling core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute end-to-end recruitment processes: sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Support the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures in line with company policies.
  • Administer performance management systems and facilitate performance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Plan and organize training and development programs to build staff capacity.
  • Monitor employee engagement and propose initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
  • Assist with payroll coordination and HR reporting.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support organizational change and HR best practices.

Requirements

  • HND / BSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification is mandatory (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI).
  • Minimum of 2–3 years HR experience in a consulting or professional services firm.
  • Solid understanding of Nigerian labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office tools.

What we Offer

  • Salary N200,000 – N300,000 monthly.
