The Federal Ministry of Youth Development has extended the deadline for Youth Confab 2025 registration for good reason. While thousands have already signed up, representation from grassroots communities remains low.
This extension is a deliberate step to ensure that every voice, from the city to the most rural community, is counted.
What is Youth Confab 2025?
It’s more than a conference, it’s a national movement. With the theme “Next Gen Nigeria: Crafting Solutions, Owning the Future,” the Confab aims to co-create youth-led, youth-informed, and youth-approved solutions across six critical pillars:
1. Governance, Leadership & Political Participation
2. Economic Transformation & Job Creation
3. Education & Skills for the Future
4. Technology & Digital Innovation
5. Climate Change & Energy Transition
6. Social Inclusion & Security
Who Can Participate
- The National Youth Conference is open to participants aged 18–35.
- A limited 10% of delegates will be selected from those above 35.
- We are committed to a 50:50 gender balance and strongly encourage the participation of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
- Inclusivity is at the heart of this initiative.
Why This Matters
